Enrollment Options

Students in the Digital Academy are offered three main enrollment options. The options can be combined and molded to fit the individual needs of students.

1. Online

Students participating online through the Digital Academy can complete all of their coursework off school grounds. Students can log in wherever they are able (at the library, from home, etc...). The progress students make is still able to be reviewed by Mrs. Vorwerk and Mrs. Bright. The staff will be sure to work with each online student to coordinate a schedule or working pace to keep students on track to complete coursework in a timely manner. Students enrolled in the online option can be required to attend the open lab hours if progress is not being made.

2. Partial

Because Digital Academy students are Liberty Center students, they are able to take classes in the traditional classrooms in Liberty Center Schools. Students may take half of their courses in the traditional classroom and complete the other half online. Any combination of classes using both online and traditional classes can be scheduled.

3. Lab

Liberty Center Schools have provided a designated area strictly for the use of Digital Academy students. This area is equipped with several computers, work spaces and a coorinator and full-time instructional aide for assistance and supervision. Students are welcome to complete online coursework in the lab from 9:00-3:00 Monday-Thursday. The requirement is a minimum of 12 hours a week with the ideal schedule being three hours a day, four days a week. Acceptions can be made due to transportation issues, etc.
