LOST AND FOUND
There is a new lost and found area in the elementary. Mr. Starkey's class mounted hooks on the wall just outside the elementary office. We hope this area is more accessible to parents and will also allow for a more organized lost and found. Please remind your child to check here for lost items. We also welcome parents as well. Thank you!
Car Rider Signs
Dear Parents: To help with the traffic flow at the end of the day, we are again encouraging the use of car rider signs. If you are new to the district, or have misplaced last year's sign please contact the Elementary office. We will be happy to assist you.
Our elementary school participates in the "Meijer 1 Card" project. This costs parents nothing but gives our school a 1/2 percent of the sales in cash that can be used to support projects at school. For people who also have/use a Meijer credit card we receive 1%. After you have your Meijer 1 Card just show it each time you make a purchase.
To Get A Card - When you request your Meijer card use this 6-digit school code when you join (247392). This is the code for Liberty Center Elementary. You can sign up online at Meijer.com/rewards.
Each year we collect pop tabs for donation to the Ronald McDonald House charities in Toledo. This year we collected 330 pounds! Thank you for your pop tabs!
Of course, we still collect Campbell Soup labels and Box Tops for Education, along with reward points from Coke products. Our soup labels help us to buy playground equipment and the box tops turn into cash for our school for various projects. Coke rewards allow us to purchase small items for our school as well. Thanks again for all of your donations!
Our school newsletter is available by clicking on the "Monthly Newsletter" link at the top of the elementary page.
Parents, if your email address changes please notify us at school. We have a Listserve System that allows teachers to send home announcements and newsletters by email.
